Any Quadrilateral Will Tile the Plane

Given any quadrialter ABCD,

(1) Pick a side and rotate the quadrilateral 180 degrees about he midpoint of that side.

(2) The resulting hexagon will have opposite sides parallel (this is sometimes called a parahex) and congruent and will tile the plane.
